TERMS OF SERVICE
1. What The ProviderX is
The ProviderX is a platform where independent service businesses list their services and customers book them directly. We provide the marketplace, profiles, booking requests and in-app chat. The service agreement for any job is between you and the provider — we are not a party to it.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating a customer or provider profile. Keep your sign-in details private and let us know immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Bookings and adjustments
Booking requests are sent to the provider through the app. The provider may accept, decline or propose an adjustment; adjustments only take effect once you confirm them. A request is a commitment to show up at the agreed time — please cancel or reschedule through chat if something changes.
4. Provider responsibilities
Providers must list services, prices and availability truthfully, hold the required qualifications and legal registrations for their trade, and treat customers professionally. Listings that mislead customers may be removed.
5. Payments
Prices shown on listings are in South African rand and are set by each provider. Payment is arranged directly with the provider unless the app offers an in-app payment option, in which case its own terms apply.
6. Conduct
All communication should happen through the in-app chat so both sides keep a record. Harassment, spam, illegal services and attempts to move bookings off-platform to mislead the other party are not allowed.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the platform grows. Continued use of The ProviderX after a change means you accept the updated terms.
